Saving for children's post-secondary education will be easier with
the new KidsFutures
rewards program that rewards Canadian families with cash contributions
towards their children's college or university education costs. Ontarians
can begin saving money for their children's education by simply registering,
free of charge, with KidsFutures and buying the products or services
made available by KidsFutures partner companies. In addition to a
substantial range of packaged goods, consumer service and tactical
product offers from an impressive array of Canada's top companies,
KidsFutures will concurrently launch a retail store component of the
program in the London, Ontario region.
An innovative improvement on traditional loyalty program mechanics,
KidsFutures allows multiple adults to participate and earn rewards
on behalf of a child or children, permitting grandparents, aunts/uncles
or Godparents to get involved and help a child they care about get
a better education. The more the merrier.
All cash rewards earned by KidsFutures members will be seamlessly
deposited into a Registered Educational Savings Plan (RESP).
All program rewards earned by KidsFutures members are also eligible
for the 20 per cent Federal Canada Education Savings Grant (CESG),
making KidsFutures the only program in the loyalty landscape to
offer consumers free government contributions.
With the cost of college and university fees almost doubling in
the past 10 years, saving for children's education is a timely issue
in Canada. A recent Human Resources Development Canada report predicts
the cost of a four-year undergraduate degree, without residence,
will cost almost $57,000 by 2017.
KidsFutures is a Toronto-based company dedicated to helping families
secure a successful future for their children, simply by purchasing
products and services from Canada's leading corporations.
